so we've been enjoying some rain here yesterday and today. it's been very nice to have a change around here. so i grabbed a few shots of the water that was left behind from this morning.
so on our way to school today aliya and i had some time to chat. we were talking about a friend of hers from church. i had just found out that they are moving. so i was talking to aliya about it. of course she was sad. after a few minutes though that changed and she started in with the questions. where are they moving? how do they move? what do they take with them? so i was answering her questions and then we got to the part about what they take with them.
so here's a list of things that she asked if they were taking with them...pens, pencils, paper, beds, the carpet, food, fridge, clothes and then of course she asked about a few others that i was laughing at. she asked what they do with their house and if they can take it. i told her nope they have to sale it to someone. so then she wanted to know if they can take the garage. nope it stays with the house. well what about the wood in the garage? ummm well honey i'm not sure they have wood in their garage. obviously since we have lots of wood in our garage well then it seems that everyone else would also.
so then she wanted to know if they would be packing up all of their paints, scissors, and "craft supplies". i told her that if they had them then they would be packing those as well. :)
so of course with it raining this morning she had on a hooded jacket and as i was dropping her off after our wonderful chat i guess i had too many things in my head as i told her to put on her helmet before she got out into the rain. she said mom your silly i don't have a helmet.:) oh ya i guess i had football on the brain!
so i decided since i have so much to catch up on that i would just upload the rest of the photos from our temecula trip to my flickr site. so now i just need to catch you up on the fun we had going on in the house prior to the trip.
also i'll be popping back in with some fun news about what i worked on monday and tuesday.
hope your having a good "here and now"!
