So I'm sitting here ready to load some photos from this past week and was thinking about what to post. I thought I would share some things i've learned this week. I guess if really look there is always something to learn!
This year for Thanksgiving we were home with just our immediate family. The girls and I took some time to go and watch Kam play in the annual church turkey bowl game. LESSON #1 don't hesitate to pull out the camera! Of course we weren't there when the game started and I put off pulling out the camera. So I missed getting any shots of the game. :(
LESSON #2 take time to enjoy your kids and play!
Aliya decided to ride her bike to the game. After it was over we went to play at the park. Of course she decided to leave her helmet on.
Of course kels joined in the fun as well and played along.
LESSON #3 Enjoy the times they are getting along! :)
LESSON #4 Play like nothing else matters!
LESSON #5 Don't be afraid to get dirty and remember what you really enjoy!
LESSON #6 Try new things.
The other day Aliya asked what I wanted for Christmas. Before I could even respond Kam had given her an answer, "mom wants someone that can decorate the tree as good as she can so she can have help"
LESSON #7 Let go more and realize things don't have to be perfect. Even though we were all laughing, because Kam was joking I knew there was some truth to it and it was a lesson I needed to learn!
Today in church the topic was gratitude. Even though this is something I've been working on I really needed to hear about it.
LESSON #8 Be grateful for even the small things! Sometimes that is all we can see at the moment.
I know there are lots of photos and I still have to download more onto the computer. Maybe later. What's something you've learned?
Oh ya one more lesson after looking thru my stuff...need to start posting more creative stuff!!! Will work on that this week as I'm getting ready to travel to my good friend Kim's for one her wonderful events!
