Okay really I'm grateful for computers, but there are days when they just annoy me to no end! Or maybe it's just because I don't have enough computer knowledge at my fingertips! :) Long story short our Internet connections has been giving us problems and we're trying to get it worked out! It's so hard to be without the Internet! Plus it's been a crazy week! In fact it's been a week since I was in Cali for Reflections! What a fun event. I was able to participate in the vendor part of this wonderful event with a very talented and wonderful friend of mine!
Many of you may already know Kim Caldwell! She hosts wonderful creative art events and sales these over the top craft totes! I can say that, because I own one and love it! Plus I'm not the only one that loves them! Many ladies at the event loved them as well, enough that the newest batch is already sold out! Never fear though as I heard that there are a new batch already in the works! Plus I know there will be many more fun things to come!
Kim and I were also very lucky to have our friend Cheryl there with us! Of course there was plenty of work, but so much fun! Of course I think things just got funnier the later it got!
For this event I was able to offer some new designs that I had been working on! I always love adding new shapes and goodies! I'm so glad that I was able to be a part of this event, it was wonderful! One thing that truly made it amazing though were the women that were at the event! I was able to meet so many new people and chat with some Cali friends as well!
I have to say though that one sweet and talented lady that I've been following for quite some time now is Melissa Phillips I think the first time I found out about her was when I fell in love with one of her beautiful cards in Paper Trends. Of course I was hooked! She has a beautiful style that is shabby, cute, and just plain fun! Of course I've been following her blog the second I found out she had one! She offers such wonderful inspiration on pretty much a daily basis! She taught at the event and came thru the vendor area! I was able to chat with her a bit and of course let her know how much I loved her stuff! She probably thought I was a bit crazy! (ssshhh don't tell) She also picked out some fun trims and one of the big chunky crowns! I can't wait to see what she does with the crown!
I also ran into the cute Laura McCollough, owner of "A Kiss On A Chic". It's a really cute monthly kit company. She always has fun new product and great ideas that she shares! Of course she had a make n take table and a vendor table so she was pretty busy! Sadly we were only able to chat for a few minutes before she had to clean up and head home! Keep an eye out as she has some fun new things in the works!
Another new gal I was excited to meet was Samantha Sibbet. She stopped by my table with Katie Watson. Now if you haven't been missing from the scrapbook world like I have you may already know these talented ladies! They were so much fun to chat with and get to know! So stay posted as I have something in the works with Samantha! Of course something that I've been wanting to do for a long time now! Can't wait to share it with you!
Of course I met so many other wonderful ladies at the event! Thanks so much for stopping by, chatting, laughing, and purchasing my goodies! I hope that I'm able to meet up with you again! Also I know I told several people that I had an Etsy store that you can find my stuff in. Of course I also had to sadly mention how depleted it really is. Well this is at the top of my list and I will keep you posted on it! Oh goodness I just checked while I was getting the link and it's worse then I thought! I have a lot of updating in it to do! :)
Just had to give out a huge thanks to Kim for being such a wonderful friend, taxi driver, hotel, and everything else she helped me with last weekend!
