White Wednesday

 Edit - I just want to apologize for the link I gave you for the transformation of the aged photos.  I received an email letting me know that there was an inappropriate photo on the site.  They have a publicalbum that someone uploaded their photo to.  Earlier I hadn't seen it.  I'm going to take the link off my blog for now.  I will see if I can find something else that will do something similar.  Thanks for understanding!
 I can't believe that it's already Wednesday again!  I know I said it last time, but the days are flying by!  Next Wed school starts.  We still have a lot to get done for the girls before then.  I'm taking a break right now though and wanted to share some photos with you.

I've been working on a few different things around here.  This project above I started yesterday.  I was able to put part of it together and painted.  Today I am just finishing it up.  Do you know what it is?  Well I will be sharing it with you soon!  It's part of my surprise.

This is something else I worked on last night while Kels and I watched Hells Kitchen or as we call it around here "HK"

 

These little cuties I worked on last week.  They are almost finished.  Just one small thing to add.  Part of my break included catching up on a few blog posts.  I love this part of the day as it always fills me with inspiration!  There are so many talented people out there!  I love to see what they come up with and I am constantly inspired by all of you.  One blog that I have been following for sometime now is Simply Me Art.  Jamie is so talented in so many things, but if you aren't familiar with her you need to check out her jewelry!  Anyways Jamie shared this wonderful link (edited out for now) to get your photos to have this fun aged look.  So of course I had to give it a whirl!  Thanks Jamie I love it!

Well I think break time is over and it's time to get lunch going.  I will be sharing more photos as I continue pulling things together for this fun surprise.  Make this Wednesday wonderful!

If you haven't already.  I have been over there and found some fun things.  My plans were to make something to link up, but time got away from me.  I could give you a list of excuses, but instead I will give you a list of photos instead.  These are peeks of a few things that I picked up this week.  They are part of the secret that I will let you in on soon.

This summer has gone by so much faster then I had thought it would! My daughters are headed back to school in less then 2 weeks and then my son is off to college shortly after.

I'm hoping to get a lot of things done around here, but also want to take some time to spend with them having fun and doing things they enjoy before they are off to school!

 

They are both very creative and I found some fun projects for them to try out this week. I can't wait to see how they turn out!  One project though Aliya has decided to do on her own.  She wanted to stitch on a pillow for her room.  So this evening I had her sketch up what she wanted on it.  We went through my fabric stash and found a cute napkin that she liked.  I transfered the pattern over for her and tomorrow she will start with the stitching.  I will share photos soon!

On another note we have finally been enjoying some of the monsoon weather!  I love it when it rains, especially since it's not all the time here.  Don't love the humidity that comes with it, but at least it's something different then "today it's going to be sunny and HOT!"

So you might be wondering what all these photos are.  Or you might already know what they are photos of and what the heck I'm going to do with the stuff.

Well these are projects that are going to be happening very soon!  I already have ideas for several of these things!  Hoping they turn out as wonderful as I envision them!

I promise to post photos of the finished pieces over the next few weeks.  Of course they may each need their own post.  I can't wait to get busy this week on a few of them.  I'm off to relax with my daughter.  We both love the same reality shows and have a few to catch up on.  Off to enjoy some time and laughter with her!
