Well I'm here plugging along with the daily challenge to create! Over the past 3or 4 months I think I've only missed 2 or 3 days! It really has become a habit that I just do now. Yes sometimes it gets pushed to the end of the day right before bed and then it's just a quick sketch or doodle, but it's still something. Then there are days where I have more time to spend and can really get lost in creating and enjoy the process more.
Day 41 - July 11th
I love my watercolor pencils! In the card above I drew the green part of the circle using them. I then added water and the yellow as well.l The white is acrylic paint and then pink acrylic dots on top. I added all the lines with my sharpie.
This was done on another day with less time. I just pulled out my markers and drew a pattern followed up with my sharpie. The markers on this card are my Zig markers from my scrapbook days! I love them because they have tips on both ends. One is wide and one narrow, depending on the type of marker you buy.
The background of this card was done with watercolors and then the white dots are gesso with watercolor pencil drawn around them. Again the details are done with my black sharpie. This card is one that I'm working on for a tutorial to give you an idea on how to do the background!
This card was done with my Zig markers and my sharpie. I love doing these "marker collages"! They are so fun to do. I create them without an idea of what they will look like. They always surprise me when they're done!
With this card I switched it up and did the collage with watercolor instead of the markers. It was fun to use something different. I added the details with a sharpie.
Day 46 - July 16th
I continued on with the collage in this one, but swapped out and used my colored pencils instead. Yep this one was also done with the sharpie on the details!
Day 47 - July 17th
This one took a bit longer then the previous ones, but was so much fun! It's a combination of acrylics, gesso, white gelly roll, and a sharpie.
Day 48 - July 18th
This one was also done with acrylics, white gelly roll, and sharpie.
I have more sitting on my desk waiting for their turn to go onto the scanner! Hoping they find their way there this week! Thanks for stopping by!
