So far I've really been enjoying ICAD this year! The facebook group is a wonderful place to visit every day! There is so much inspiration to be found along with lots of wonderful people. I'm not sure exactly how many people are in the group, but there is constantly a new card being added! I wish I could keep up with them all! You can also find them on flickr and instagram. Search ICAD and you will be flooded with lots of photos!
I know we are almost finished with week 2 of ICAD, but I want to share my cards from the first week.
#1 acrylics, pencil, stitching, and bits of paper.
#2 marker, watercolors, sharpie, tape, and bits of paper.
#3 acrylic, markers, watercolors, sharpie and print.
#4 This one is done on a mini index card. They measure 2.5 x 1.5 inches.
Acrylic, sharpie, painted papers.
The first week was so much fun to get back into creating just to create! I keep trying to remember that it's about the process and not about the end results! I'm enjoying trying new things and stepping out of my comfort zone. I've found new things that I really enjoy. It's so much easier to try new things when you know it's just going on to a cheap index card. I love seeing how things evolve as the days go on. It's not too late to join in the fun if you want!
