I can't believe that week 3 has already come and gone! The time just seems to go by so darn fast! So along the way I've learned and relearned some things about myself! It's been fun to see and be reminded of the positive things that come from being creative everyday (or almost everyday). I had planned on sharing some of the things I've learned along the way. When I finished adding all the photos I thought the post was plenty long! I will save those for another post this week. Hope you enjoy!
#16 This is another stapled collaged. I had so much fun with these. Just layered and stapled scraps that I had saved. I just added until I was happy with it. I love the look of hot air balloons, but I don't think I would ever want a ride in one. Yikes!
#17 Yep another stapled collage. With this one I went out of my comfort zone and just grabbed anything that was sitting in my paper stash. I always love the look of different colors and patterns when people combine them together. It's something I really need to practice on! So much in this one from pieces of envelopes, junk mail, wrapping paper, scrapbook paper, packaging, notice from post office, and so much more!
One of the days I decided to just sit down with a stack of index cards, a box of scraps, and a glue stick. I created several cards. Most of them I just tore the pieces and glued them. A few of them I cut the pieces to give them a more uniform look. These cards will now be used as backgrounds to use when I'm in the mood. It was so fun and relaxing to just sit and glue.
This is a 30 second flipagram that I did to show the pictures of the process of #18. I started with one of my cards that I had done with the scraps and glue.
I hope you are able to take some time this week to either create or do something you enjoy! It makes such a difference! Thanks for stopping by!
