So I was busy working yesterday in between so many things and bouncing around from one thing to the next and then back to the first thing. Well I went to look for the phone and realized that I had left it in the fridge in the garage. I think was rearranging the sodas and set it on the shelf in there. So I looked around the house and decided it was time again for a "here and now"
So one of the projects that I'm behind on and trying to finish up is a skirt for Aliya for Easter. Well Kels had wanted to also sew herself a dress and it may come down to it that I'm the one doing it. If the skirt gets done! So the table that I just got came in handy when cutting out the pattern.
So this is my table in my living room. Of course it's got several things on it that I was working on. In fact the small yellow triangle is the only thing in the photo isn't mine. Every time I see this table in a photo it reminds me that I still want to paint it. It was originally a dining table and I cut the legs off to the level of a coffee table. So one of these days it will have a new finish on it.
So this is the other corner of the table and of course a small portion of Aliya's beloved stuffed animal collection!
Just a happy shot of my kitchen. I loved working in this spot the other day. It's so cheery and bright...and of course it had room for me to work, where as the other spots are all filled up with other projects. Am I the only one that has projects that take over their houses? Wonder if Kam would mind if I started spreading into his room? If you look closely I'm finishing up on the altered apron for Mystic.

I also did a small amount of laundry yesterday. I know I was surfing around blogland somewhere and saw a photo of a laundry room. They had their soap in a cute glass container. So while I was at Goodwill a few weeks ago I found this for a few bucks and grabbed it.
Just a bunch of random items that have accumulated on my counter area. Ugh every flat surface is up for grabs as a drop spot. Is it that way at your house?
So can you guess what's missing from this photo?
Oh there it is. The towel, yep it's supposed to be on the oven, but for some reason the kids think that when they drip water that it's supposed to stay on the floor.
Came upstairs later to find him napping and had to snap the shot. So headed out the door with the girls for a day of fun at Disney on Ice. Photos later I hope!
