ETSY IS FINALLY STOCKED!!!

so my etsy site that i've had for awhile has stuff on it now.  last night i spent some time with it and got some cutouts loaded onto it.  you can check it out here.  last time i listed my cutouts on my blog they were sold per piece.  for etsy it was better for you the consumer to purchase them in sets.  it's explained in each description.  also hopefully within the next few days i will be offering  "A LA CARTE" i think it should be lots of fun.  i have some fun vintage stuff that i have "limited" stock on and then the wood cutouts will also be sold "A LA CARTE"  i've already started photographing stuff.  can't wait to share some of these cool finds!

so last week i stayed kinda busy in the wood workshop!  i got a ton of little wood items cut out!  i was even able to add 2 new patterns into my stuff!  now my task will be to put them together so i can get them up on etsy!  so just a little teaser of a portion of the cut outs!

so this jar was FULL of cut outs and i still had another box full of them!  i would say that in this photo is only about half of what i got cut!  you can see the 2 new patterns also!  i had a request for a few differnt hearts then the one i was offering so i decided to add this one!  it's a skinny long one!  the 2nd pattern is the arrow! i've been wanting to get some arrows done for a long time so i decided to go with this one first!  they are both about 2 inches wide and 5-6 inches long!  i will have more details soon about them!  i just had so much fun getting back to my wood!  it gives me that time alone to let the things in my head just run wild!  love the time alone to just think!  well it appears that it is time for swim lessons!  off into the HEAT!

EXCITING FOR ME TO POST THIS!  I HAVE NO MORE CUTOUTS CURRENTLY!  THEY ARE ALL GONE! IT'S SAD NOT TO SEE THEM SITTING THERE ALL STACKED UP, BUT NICE TO KNOW THEY ALL HAVE HOMES NOW!  I'M HOPING TO WORK ON SOME MORE THIS WEEK.  IT'S A BUSY WEEK SO WE'LL SEE!  THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND I HAVE SOME FUN NEWS FOR THE LOCAL GALS.  I'LL SHARE THAT SOON I HOPE!

So I finished up my banner last week.  I've just been busy being a taxi driver and haven't sat down to post it.  I'm working on extra kits for this to sell here.  I will for sure have kits that are "wood only".  I'm looking through all my supplies to see if I will have enough to make the whole kit.  I will update this as soon as it's figured out.  Also still working on stuff to get the etsy shop up!  Thanks for checking back!

Update!!!

just wanted to give you a quick update on the wood cut-outs!  i edited the post that has the photos.  so as of right now these numbers are correct!  i just want to say thanks so much for the compliments and the orders!  i hope you will share your ideas as to what you've done with these little cuties!  i have ideas and have done a few, but it's always so much fun to see what others come up with!  for those of you that have made orders those will be put togehter later on today!  trying to get some time to put some more things up and hopefully they will be on etsy!  again THANKS!

okay so this is a ton of fun for me!!!! i've finally got stuff organized enough to offer you some fun little cut-outs!  i'm going to offer them through this blog for right now.  i'm finishing up my new etsy site!  then hopefully i'll be able to show you examples over here and let ya know when i have new stuff up in my etsy shop!  i wish you could know how fun and exciting this is for me!  i LOVE wood and it's so fun to be able to share some of my own patterns with others and see how they can alter them or use them!

so just a little bit about these pieces first.  i love all kinds of wood, but i've found when altering wood with paper that if your using pine that it needs to be primed first so that the moisture in the wood doesn't wrinkle your paper over time.  so to help with this i have a different kind of wood that i love to use.  it requires no priming!  you can paint it alter it whatever your little heart desires! it also is less expensive and i can pass the savings on to you!

this first one is a fun shape of a bird.  i make him in 3 different sizes.  currently i only have 2 of the sizes in stock.   this first size is the largest one.  you can click on the photo and see it close up.  he's 1/4" thick.

he sells for $4 and right now i have 15 in stock

this is the same little bird.  he's just in the smallest size.  he's also 1/4" thick.  you can compare him to the bottle cap that is next to him which is the size of a quarter. (the bottle cap is just cuter)

this is another fun little bird.  he  comes w/ a wing that is NOT attatched.  right now i only have him in the small size.

this is one of my favorite patterns.  right now i've only got it in this one size.  this fun little pair of wings can be used on so many things!
